Make Up North Academy has been created by one of the north west’s most knowledgeable & creative industry professionals; Emma Fairfield has more than 24 years of experience working in all mediums of make up artistry; in fashion, television, film and high end quality publications. She also has more than 20 years experience of teaching in higher and further education and has worked for the BBC at the new Media City in Salford Quays, and was fortunate enough to work as a make up artist at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Ceremonies.
Make Up North academy will offer you carefully selected, cutting edge experts from industry in both hair and make up, bringing simply the highest standard of training. Guest demonstrators and speakers from across the country will share their skills and knowledge, blending their experience with passion.
We have a minimum of 2 learners and a maximum of 8 learners per class, to guarantee individual attention and quality teaching.
Our short courses run 2-4 days a week, or 4 evenings over a month, allowing that all important flexibility for working professionals and those with young children. We recognise the demand to balance life and develop a career. If you are a current working make up artist or a complete novice, we cater for you, both enriching skills and developing potential.
